  • "I was on a road trip from Indianapolis to Bar Harbor, Maine on my Sportster along with 4 other Harley riding friends. It was the first day of 14 in our journey when it was nothing but rain from the time we left Indianapolis on June 10th. During some serious downpours while riding, my bike started chugging as if I was out of gas or had gotten some water in my gas tank. My group had tried some simple on the road repairs but the problem persisted. Western Reserve was the closest Harley dealer although it was in the opposite direction we were headed. I had called a Erie, Pennsylvania Harley dealer hoping they could help me as this was about 50 miles away but we would probably arrive 10 minutes before they close. They were rude on the phone and just hung up on me. What a relief when we pulled into Western Reserve Harley and RJ the service advisor greeted us. It was about 30 minutes before the dealership closed but he was still happy to help. He asked many questions to try and pinpoint the problem, gave us worst case scenario (may need to leave the bike overnight if the problem was too big), and promised us he and his team would try their best in the 30 minutes they had. RJ kept us up to date as they examined my bike. I later learned Kevin was the mechanic who worked on my bike and was thrilled he was still smiling even though my problem kept him 10 minutes late. Come to find out, my bike can't swim and was just water logged from all the rain and it being a carbureted bike. RJ even gave me a great lesson on carbureted bikes. He and Kevin blew dry my air filter and changed my spark plugs. Next thing you know, my group and I are back on the road in 40 minutes! I can not say enough how great RJ and Kevin were in providing a great experience in a personally bad situation as I thought my trip was over. They were even nice enough to tell me to get a new front tire after my trip as well as do a 10,000 mile service maintenance. RJ and Kevin are the epitome of great customer service! RJ and Kevin, you are both wonderful guys and I can't say thanks enough for helping me get to Maine and have a memorable vacation. I hope your hard work, friendliness, and great customer service does not go unnoticed. If I ever am in Ohio again, I plan on visiting Western Reserve Harley every time. If I get relocated to Ohio, I will need to find a home in or close to Mentor just so I can become a regular at Western Reserve."

  • "I had not even thought about purchasing a bike until I looked up from across the street (Ford Dealership), saw your sign, and said to my wife, "I want a motorcycle for Christmas". It had been almost 25 years since I owned my last bike. My wife and I pulled in, checked to make sure the dealership was open, and in we came. We were immediately greeted by, little did we know at the time, our sales person "Evil". Not having a clue where to start, we headed directly for the used bikes. After a few minutes of discussing colors and styles the questions began to flow like water. I had always loved the V-Rods and specifically in silver. Hearing talk of this, Evil, as a good sales person should, spoke up: "Well, we have one right up front. Let me show you"... and off to the races we went. I asked lots of foolish questions which Evil answered very confidently and politely, careful not to be condescending to a novice like me. I was sold until my eye wandered two bikes down where I saw a 2012 Sportster 48. I was fascinated by its retro look, the wide spoked front wheel/tire and the peanut shaped tank. It was the quintessential old school bike which the two of us could enjoy. From there it was the most pleasant experience I have ever had purchasing any type of vehicle. The entire staff made us feel comfortable and like, well...family. From there we were introduced to all the family members along the way. We were given a very fare deal, financing was simple and expedient, and afterwards we thoroughly enjoyed the tour of the fab shop, dyno test room and winter storage areas given by Jim Richards. The bike was prepped and delivered the very next day via Western Reserve's enclosed trailer. It arrived at the promised time and I couldn't be happier. Stacy and Zoli, your passion for this business is evident in the way you handle customer service, your outstanding facility, and most importantly, your exceptional staff. I highly recommend the experience. Thank you and we look forward to meeting you both...."

  • "Took the Riding Academy class on one of the hottest days of the year and the class was great, they took great care of us due to the heat but made sure we learned how to ride. The instructors were first class and very much concerned that we knew how to safely ride a motorcycle. The class room is very nice as well as a retreat from the weather no matter what the condition. The instruction was at a pace so that all students could learn, we could ask questions and as students work with each other to understand each goal. Took the state class last year, this beats that hands down. Helmets off to everyone for a great class and making me a better/safer rider."

  • "I would like to thank your dealership and mainly your service department for there excellent quick service. I was on a cross country ride form Iowa to Maine when I had a wheel bearing issue on the return trip home. I was at the dealership before they opened up on a Monday morning and I was not sure what expect due to the fact of hearing and reading about some horror stories of these situation from other riders. They got my bike in first thing and I got the enpression that they were tring to get me back on the road asap. This is one of the reasons I switch to HD motorcycles is because of the dealer presents across the country which puts your mined at ease when traveling on a bike across the country. Thanks to your dealership this maine trip still ranks as one of my best rides."

  • "I had the most easy and enjoyable experiance when it was time to get my first harley. I was expecting to pushed in to buying something i didn't want and something i didn't like. I have to say that my sales rep. Ray, was so helpful and easy to deal with. He didn't push and didn't try to sell be something i didn't want or like. He did make suggestions like, he thought that if i bought a sportster that i would out grow it in 2 months, and i liked that because i don't want that to happen. I bought a street bob and i couldn't be happier. So if your looking for an easy sales time and friendly service the try western reserve and see ray or any of the staff, they will take care of you and bend over back wards to make sure that your experiance is not only an enjoyable one, but the kind that leaves you feeling good about buying from them."

  • "Stacy and Zoli: I wanted to share my recent experience working with your Parts and Service departments. My '09 Ultra was losing mileage late in the '10 riding season (dropping from ~40 mpg to ~30 mpg for no apparent reason). After an oil change and winter storage, the guys in Service diagnosed the problem for me. During the off season, I acquired some after-market slip-ons at the wonderful HOG reverse raffle. (I must say, the HOG club is a golden asset to your dealership! Ride and Have Fun!). Well, I talked with the guys in Service, and they set me up with a Screamin' Eagle Stage I breather and Race Tuner, which I took over to Service. They had the whole se-up installed, Dyno tuned, and ready to roll in a matter of days! I picked up my bike last night. (So it was raining--I'm not gonna melt!) The bike looks, sounds, and runs great! I couldn't be happier with the dealership, with Parts and Service, and with everyone on the Western Reserve family.   • "On a cold snowy January afternoon, Western Reserve sent their Truck & Trailer out to pick up a 2009 Ultra Classic & take it back to their service dept. Where warranty service was performed & the bike was thoroughly gone over by MGR Jim & his knowledgeable staff. The Service Dept. is first cabin all the way! Then Mike D in the finance dept worked his magic with the numbers & his computer, resulting in a most favorable loan. Mike took alot of phone calls from me & never once did he ever express any aggravation with all my many questions, prodding & pushing to get the deal done. These guys are Pros & Harley-Davidson should be proud to have this shop & its employees representing their fine products. Thank You Guys Ed Lynch"

  • "I just wanted to tell you about a great experience I had with your parts employee Matt Vivolo. I purchses a light kit for my 2006 Dyna Wide Glide. It wouldn't fit according to the instructions. I talked to Matt and he said he would assist me in installing it if if I would bring my bike up which I did today. The factory wiring wasn't as he thought it would be but he wouldn't give up. Matt spent the extra time with me and finally figured out what to do and got my light kit installed. I was extremely happy with Matt going the extra mile in hooking me up. He went well beyond the call of duty and made my experience fantastic. Great job Matt!!!!"
